On a mission to help millions of businesses and individuals transform their impossibilities into I’m Possibilities, even in the midst of change and uncertainty.

How do we consistently emerge as the best versions of ourselves regardless of the circumstances? And how do we reflect that greatness in our businesses, our personal lives, and in the impact that we have on the world around us?

Those are the two powerful questions that have captivated Meridith from the moment that she realized that, although humanity had figured out how to put a man on the moon, we had still not figured out how to be consistently “happy”.

These questions also propelled Meridith to begin a lifetime of exploration into the art and science of personal development. From studying the works of ancient philosophers Plato, Socrates and Hobbes to religious works of both eastern and western cultures while at Georgetown University, Meridith made it her mission to better understand “how to choose to live (or not live)” if we want to be genuinely happy.

This quest lead her to study the martial art of aikido and its concept of energy (ki), tai chi with its concept of chi and ultimately thought leaders ranging from Tony Robbins to Law of Attraction’s (Abraham) Esther Hicks. She began studying the untapped power of the mind as it showed up both in science and in spirituality. And she of course took careful notice of how this showed up in her own life — both where these principles appeared to be “working” and where she seemed to be hitting a wall.

It is one thing to research these concepts and quite another to be faced with a disruption so powerful that your future outcome appears to rest in your ability to successfully implement these strategies.

In 2016, this is exactly what Meridith faced.

In the middle of a busy Friday afternoon, Meridith received the call that her youngest daughter had been crushed by a boulder while on a fellowship in South America. She was not expected to survive.

None of the measurable “outer game” systems that helped her run her business could help her. Her only hope was to tap into the skills and strategies in her inner game. Without hesitation, she declared “game on!”

Today, Meridith fuses her own compelling story with real actionable strategies to help leaders understand how can they too can tap into their own grit, resilience, and fearlessness. How they can inspire themselves and their team to perform at a higher, more satisfying level when the stakes are high, change is constant, competition is tough and team members are struggling with roles that feel mundane.

If you are looking for a speaker to energize and inspire your team toward a powerful future vision, Meridith Alexander will ignite a passion for the “I’m Possible” that will be talked about for months (and years) to come.

Meridith’s 3 Principles

Meridith jokes that the speaking and training industry was an “accidental career” for her. Launched when she was almost 60, a business where she would ultimately speak in front of thousands seemed counter-intuitive to her belief that she suffered from terrible stage fright. And yet, when you know Meridith’s 3 principles for both business and life, the move seems not only inevitable but critical. Meridith’s personal mission is to help organizations throughout the world create environments where attendees leave empowered, inspired to consistently show up as the B.E.S.T. version of themselves, and ultimately unleash a new level of G.R.I.T.. A force that will become the rocket fuel for positively impacting the world for generations to come.

Being a successful woman in business means having the courage to own who you are, why you are doing what you do and how you can apply your vision to positively impact the world.  A successful woman is confidently feminine and eager to learn and grow. She has achieved balance and perspective in all aspects of her life. She leads rather than chases. She explores rather than waiting for the path to be paved. Her success grows thanks to the challenges that she has faced —versus growing in spite of them.

I consider myself successful in business not only because of the results that I see (money, notoriety, etc.). I feel successful because I wake up each morning looking forward to what the day will bring. I love what I do and I’m doing what I love. I thrive even while running these businesses while acting as the primary 24/7 caregiver for my daughter.

Our businesses give us an opportunity to let our voices be heard — to leave a thumbprint on the world. A successful woman realizes that it’s personal precisely because it’s business.
