Yes, I too can get stressed! If I were to be asked what my occupation is, I think that I would probably respond “practicing deliberate positivity in whatever I’m living.” Sometimes, it feels more natural than others. If you have been following my podcasts and posts, you know that this doesn’t mean that I always “have” to feel positive and sunny. There can be real “rocket fuel” value in those emotions that we label as negative. Anger, for example, can be vital for getting your feeling of power back if you have been feeling depressed or overwhelmed. Dissatisfaction has probably motivated more inventions than our “cushier” emotions.

However, stress and anxiety can be no fun when I’m in their clutches. I have needed to find ways in my life to pivot to a place where I can feel more relaxed and more optimistic — a place where I feel like I truly can trust this beautiful process, even when I’m feeling the charge of some creative tension.
