WE OFFICIALLY HAVE A DISCHARGE DATE! At least for now… This journey is a mountain range and the time has come for now for Schuy and me to take the next leg of this trek on our own. Schuy will officially be discharged from outpatient rehab by the end of September. It will become our responsibility to continue practicing, practicing, practicing…. Walking in the walker is still incredibly difficult for her (and for whoever is spotting  her) and yet we all know that it’s just a matter of time. Schuy will be fine — no matter what. We just don’t yet know what the various variations of fine will look like.

Life has dowsed all of us with many storms that show up in our lives in many shapes and forms. And yet, even in the height of the downpour comes the opportunity to see beauty… to feel the awe of our glorious little planet. In the midst of news of great cruelty appear signs of staggering kindness.

Life is rich and full of love and inspiration when we are open to embrace it. Wishing you a day of dancing through your rain showers and seeing the hidden webs in the wilderness!
